About Me

I have been involved with the Covington Elementary PTA since 2009. Last year I served on the board as the secretary and assisted with many of programs and events that the school and PTA have put on.

I have attended District meetings and trainings as well as the State Convention. I have enjoyed being a part of the PTA as well as being part of the CES Family! I love being involved in my children’s lives and being in the PTA definitely keeps me involved.

I am married to Paige and we have two children Aidan and Nadia. Paige is a school teacher in Jefferson Parish. Aidan will be attending Pine View Middle this year and Nadia will be attending Covington Elementary. I am an Operator for the Kenner Fire Department and also work at St. Tammany Fire District #12 as an Inspector/Investigator.

The PTA is excited to be introducing some new programs this year. I am looking forward to working with you this school year.

Hello!

My name is Melissa. I have been involved in the PTA since 2005 and have had held membership, newsletter, & website positions and I’ve volunteered for just about everything.

I have been to District leadership training events, National & State Conventions and was awarded a pin for Distinguished Service. I enjoy what I do with the PTA and the friends I’ve made but most of all I love what it means to my kids for me to be involved in their education.

I have been married to Greg since 2004 and we have 4 adorable children, my stepson Gregory 10, our identical twin nieces Donna 7 and Melody 7, & the baby Serenity 6mo, who is in the process of being spoiled by all the big kids.
